Our Services
No two people are the same — and neither are their struggles. That’s why we offer a variety of therapy services to support your unique journey. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or navigating challenges in your relationships or family, we’re here to walk alongside you with care and compassion.

All sessions are available virtually, making it easy to access professional, personalized care from anywhere in California. For those who prefer in-person support, we also offer sessions at our downtown Sacramento office.

At Crosstown Psychology, we offer individual therapy, couples and family counseling, trauma-informed treatment, grief and loss support, anger management, ADHD evaluations, and faith-based therapy for those who want to include their spiritual beliefs in the process.

*Most services are covered by insurance. EMDR therapy is a private-pay service only ($285 per session). Interested in EMDR? Book a free 15-minute consultation to learn more.
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, we create a space where you can talk openly and feel fully heard. Together, we’ll identify what’s been weighing on you and set realistic goals to support your healing and growth. Every person’s story is different, so we move at your pace and tailor each session to meet your unique needs.
Grief & Loss Counseling
Grief shows up in many ways — sadness, anger, numbness, or even staying busy to avoid the pain. However you’re experiencing loss, we’re here to walk with you through it. You don’t have to face it alone. Therapy provides a space to process what you’re feeling and begin healing in your own time.
Anger Management
Anger is a normal emotion, but when it starts to impact your relationships or daily life, it may be time to explore new strategies. We help you understand the roots of your anger and provide practical tools to respond in healthier, more peaceful ways. You can learn to feel more in control — and less reactive.

Psychological Testing (ADHD Evaluations)
If you’re wondering whether ADHD may be affecting your focus, memory, or daily functioning, a psychological evaluation can help provide clarity. We offer formal testing that assesses attention, behavior patterns, and cognitive functioning. The results can support diagnosis and guide helpful next steps in treatment or school/work support.
EDMR Therapy (Private Pay)
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based method that helps the brain reprocess painful memories and reduce emotional distress. It’s a structured, effective approach for trauma that’s different from traditional talk therapy.

Relationship & Couples Therapy
Every relationship comes with challenges. Whether you're dating, engaged, married, or somewhere in between, therapy can help you and your partner build stronger communication, deepen trust, and work through conflict in a healthier way. We offer a supportive space where both people feel heard and respected.
Trauma-Focused Therapy
Past trauma can affect your present in unexpected ways. In trauma-focused therapy, we help you gently explore painful experiences using tools that are paced and supportive. Together, we’ll build coping skills and introduce calming techniques to help reduce anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional distress.
Depression & Anxiety Treatment
Feeling down, anxious, or stuck can be incredibly isolating — but you’re not alone, and help is available. We use proven approaches to help you better understand your thoughts and emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and begin to feel more like yourself again. Small steps can lead to real change.
Faith-Based Therapy
For clients who want to include faith in their healing journey, we offer Christian counseling that integrates biblical truth with clinical care. You’ll have the opportunity to explore your challenges through both a spiritual and psychological lens. We honor your values and walk alongside you with compassion, prayer, and practical tools.

“"Anxiety used to run my life — I was constantly overthinking, overwhelmed, and exhausted. Therapy gave me the space to slow down, understand what was really going on, and finally breathe again. I don’t feel stuck in my head anymore.”
